What is John Wing Trail like?
The John Wing Trail begins at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History and crosses a salt marsh on a boardwalk and plank bridge out to Wing Island, then continues to the Cape Cod Bay shore. About 1.3 miles of walking through marsh, upland and beach, it is one of Brewster's best spots for birding and shorebird watching. Note that the trail can flood at high tide, so it is best walked at low tide.
