Last updated: April 21, 2026. The ground rules for using Cape Cod Certified.
1. What Cape Cod Certified is
Cape Cod Certified is a private curation register of contractors, experience hosts, and goods makers working on or for Cape Cod. We are not a government agency, a licensing body, or a warranty provider. Our “Certified” mark and “Standards” reflect our own internal review — not any public or regulatory certification.
2. What we are not
We do not perform the work, host the experiences, or manufacture the goods listed on this site. Every listed business is independent. Any contract you form with a listed business is directly between you and them. We are not a party to that contract and do not guarantee outcomes.
3. Using this site
You agree to use this site honestly. You will not scrape, frame, redistribute, misrepresent, or harass businesses reached through the register. You will not submit false information. You will not use the site to spam or defraud.
4. Listing on the register
Being selected for or removed from the register is at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to decline any applicant. We reserve the right to remove any listing at any time if the business no longer meets our standards or if we receive credible complaints we cannot resolve.
5. Intellectual property
The Cape Cod Certified name, mark, copy, and visual system are our property. Listed businesses retain their own trademarks and content. Do not copy, frame, or reuse site content without written permission.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We make reasonable efforts to vet listed businesses, but we do not guarantee the quality, safety, timeliness, or legal compliance of any service, experience, or product you obtain through the register.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Cape Cod Certified will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this site or any business reached through it. Our maximum aggregate liability to you is one hundred US dollars ($100).
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Cape Cod Certified against claims arising from your misuse of the site or your interactions with businesses you reached through it.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Plymouth County, Massachusetts.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material updates will be announced on the homepage and in the dispatch. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.
