What do we collect?
Information you give us directly. Your name, email, phone number, business name, project details, and any content you include when you submit a form on this site — Request a Quote, List your business, or the Journal signup.
Information collected automatically. Your browser type, operating system, screen size, and the pages you visit on this site. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our pages, including clicks, scrolling and session recordings. We do not use advertising trackers. We do not fingerprint.
Cookies. We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie choice. Microsoft Clarity runs without cookies unless you choose “Accept all” in the cookie notice; then it sets its own cookies, including Microsoft cookies that can recognise your browser on other sites. Choosing “Essential only” later deletes them. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
How do we use it?
We use your information to respond to you, to connect you with the contractor, host, or supplier you reached out to, and to send you the dispatch if you asked for it. That is all.
We do not sell your data. We do not trade your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
What are your rights?
You can ask us to show you what we have on file about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. We respond within 30 days. Email support@capecodcertified.com.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to know, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of “sale” (we don't sell). Make a request at the email above.
EU / UK residents (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Our legal basis for processing is your consent and our legitimate interest in running the register. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
How long do we keep it?
Form submissions are retained for 24 months so we can follow up on active inquiries. Journal subscriber emails are retained until you unsubscribe. Support emails are retained for 24 months from the last message.
How do we keep it secure?
We use standard security practices — TLS in transit, access controls, and hosting with reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure. If we have a breach affecting your data, we'll tell you within 72 hours.
Is this site for children?
This site is not directed at children under 13. If we learn we've collected information from a child under 13, we'll delete it.
What happens if this policy changes?
We'll update this page if the policy changes and note the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the dispatch and on the homepage.
