Pricing
Priced for locals. Built to perform.
Flat, honest rates — no commissions, no pay-per-lead games, no ad auctions. We keep prices aggressive on purpose: the point of Cape Cod Certified is to put more money in the pockets of the people who actually live and work here.

Why we price this way
The big platforms take a cut of the Cape. We don't.
No commissions, ever
Booking sites take 15–30% of every lodging stay. Lead platforms charge contractors for every homeowner introduction — then sell the same lead to their competitors. Every dollar of that comes out of Cape pockets. We charge one flat rate and stay out of the transaction.
Locals-first economics
Our rates are deliberately aggressive — a fraction of what one season of commissions or lead fees costs — because the mission is a Cape where local businesses keep their margins. Business listings are free, forever, and the paid tiers fund the platform so the directory never has to charge the corner shop.
Founding rates, locked
Early members lock their founding rate for life while their membership stays active. Prices rise for newcomers as the platform grows — never for the people who backed it first.
How each model works
Five verticals. Each engineered to rank — on Google and in AI answers.
Every membership is backed by the same machine: hundreds of in-person-verified listings and locally-researched guides, structured so search engines and AI assistants can read, trust, and cite them. When you join, your page plugs into that authority — it doesn't start from zero.
Cape Cod Passport — for locals & regulars
How it works: One flat $49 a year. You get a member's view of the Cape: an interactive map you can pin, a photo album that grows with every trip, the full guide library, and a direct line to the same vetted contractors our homeowners use.
Why it's priced this way: Every other travel platform monetizes you with ads and affiliate steering. The Passport flips that — you pay a coffee-run price once a year, and nothing you see is pay-to-rank.
Why it performs: Your saved spots and guides live on the same pages that rank in Google and get cited by AI assistants — so the Cape knowledge you collect is always current, not a stale screenshot.
Lodging — for inns, B&Bs, cottages & rental homes
How it works: A flat $250 a year — a founding rate locked for life while you stay active. Your property gets a full listing with real photography, and travelers book with you directly. We never sit in the middle of the transaction.
Why it's priced this way: Booking platforms take 15–30% of every stay, every year, forever. One mid-season week pays our entire annual fee — everything after that stays in your pocket. That's the point.
Why it performs: Your listing lives inside the town pages and travel guides people actually use to plan Cape trips — pages that already rank on Google and get quoted by AI travel answers. Demand flows to you without buying ads.
Certified Contractor — for the building trades
How it works: From $1,200 a year. We verify your Massachusetts HIC/CSL credentials — that's what 'Certified' means here — and homeowners contact you directly from our contractor guides and directory. No bidding, no shared leads. Once certified, sponsor any hiring guide directly for a flat $900/yr.
Why it's priced this way: Pay-per-lead platforms sell the same homeowner to five contractors and charge each of you for the introduction. We charge one flat rate and send the homeowner straight to you. Two real jobs a year and the math is settled.
Why it performs: We publish town-by-town hiring guides for every trade — hundreds of pages built from real local review data. They rank for the exact searches Cape homeowners make, and your name rides inside them.
Business Listings — free, forever
How it works: If you run a real Cape Cod business, your listing is free. We photograph in person, we ask your permission before anything goes live, and you appear in the town directory locals and visitors browse.
Why it's priced this way: A local guide that charges small shops rent isn't a local guide. The paid tiers above fund the platform so the directory itself never has to.
Why it performs: Every listing is structured data on a town page that already ranks — so 'best coffee in Chatham' searches (and the AI assistants answering them) can find you without you spending a dollar.
Realtor & Partner Placements — for agencies, agents & lenders
How it works: Agent seats start at $350. From there, town placements run $1,200/yr and guide placements $900/yr — each page holds a small, fixed number of local names (4 towns, 6 guides), never an open auction. Banks and lenders sponsor a package of towns or guides, from $1,800/yr, arranged directly with our team.
Why it's priced this way: You're not bidding in an ad auction against national brands. You're one of a small, fixed number of local names on a specific, permanent page with a known audience — at a price a local business can actually justify.
Why it performs: Town pages and guides here rank durably and get cited by AI answers — your placement compounds with the page instead of disappearing when the ad budget stops.
