What is Plymouth Beach (Long Beach barrier) like?

Plymouth's signature ocean beach, a long sandy barrier spit curling into Plymouth Harbor that's hugely popular with locals and tourists alike. Staffed daily with lifeguards and a bathhouse from late May through Labor Day, with beach wheelchairs and Mobi-mats for accessible access.

Resident Beach/Pond sticker $50 ($25 senior/handicap) or $15 daily parking fee; buy online at plymouth-ma.gov or in person at the Tax Collector's Office, Town Hall, 26 Court Street

    Town waterfront park adjacent to Plymouth Rock and the downtown harbor. A flat, grassy and sandy strip along Plymouth Harbor with calm water, historical views, and easy access to the town wharf and Mayflower II. More of a scenic gathering spot than a swim beach.
