What is Sandwich Boardwalk (Mill Creek) like?

The famous Sandwich Boardwalk stretches roughly 1,350 feet across Mill Creek and salt marsh out to the bay-side dunes and beach. A beloved spot for strolling, birdwatching, crabbing off the planks, and watching the sun set over Cape Cod Bay. Connects to Town Neck Beach. Restrooms available seasonally.

Boardwalk parking lot; sticker or daily/weekly pass required in season (free after 5:00 PM)

Stickers and fees

Resident seasonal sticker or non-resident pass; daily ($20) and weekly ($50) passes available. Stickers/passes via the Tax Collector's office (508-833-8012) or sandwichstickers.townhall247.com. Parking free after 5:00 PM.

    A six-mile barrier beach along Cape Cod Bay reached via the East Sandwich gatehouse off Route 6A, though the beach itself is managed by the Town of Barnstable. Full amenities at the main beach: lifeguards, restrooms, outdoor showers, snack bar, ramp access and a beach wheelchair. Famous for dunes, beachcombing, sea glass, ORV trails, and primitive camping. Note: Sandwich beach stickers are not accepted here.
