Onset, Massachusetts

Onset is the waterfront village at the heart of Wareham, and it doesn't look like anywhere else on this side of the bridges. The village association describes it as an historic Victorian waterfront village, built in the 1800s as a self-sufficient resort community, with many of the original storefronts and cottages still standing (Onset Bay Association — Our Story).
