What is Mill Pond Valley Conservation Trail like?
A quiet 1-mile trail through 13 acres of conservation land leading from Champlain Road to the shoreline of Mill Pond in East Orleans. Features historic stone walls, a vernal pool, and a coastal plain pond that draws migrating wood ducks and waterfowl. Lightly traveled and ideal for birdwatchers. Trail ends at a viewpoint above Little Cove on Mill Pond.
