What is Hatches Harbor & Race Point Lighthouse Trail like?
An out-and-back route (about 3.3 miles round trip) on a sand fire road leading through tidal salt marsh and rolling dunes out to Hatches Harbor and the historic Race Point Lighthouse. A noted birding hotspot. Tidal conditions affect the marsh crossing, so check tides and wear waterproof footwear at high tide. As a fire road, leashed dogs are permitted.
