What is Woods End Lighthouse like?
Woods End Light stands at the tip of Provincetown's protective spit, reached by a memorable ~1-mile walk across the stone breakwater (dike) from the West End, then over sand to the squat white 1872 tower. Time it with the tides and wear sturdy shoes — you're rewarded with sweeping harbor-and-bay views and one of the Cape's most peaceful, end-of-the-world settings.
