What is Sandy Neck Beach (East Sandwich side) like?
A six-mile barrier beach along Cape Cod Bay reached via the East Sandwich gatehouse off Route 6A, though the beach itself is managed by the Town of Barnstable. Full amenities at the main beach: lifeguards, restrooms, outdoor showers, snack bar, ramp access and a beach wheelchair. Famous for dunes, beachcombing, sea glass, ORV trails, and primitive camping. Note: Sandwich beach stickers are not accepted here.
