Mid Cape · Town guide
Cotuit is the village at the western edge of Barnstable that feels like it's slightly off the map — on purpose. It's among the smallest of the seven villages, about five square miles wrapped by Popponesset Bay, Cotuit Bay, and the Santuit River, with a rustic, laid-back character its residents defend (ARTS Barnstable — Cotuit).
