What is Beech Forest Trail like?
A 1-mile loop through one of the few remaining beech forests on the Outer Cape, skirting the shallow Beech Forest Pond. The trail mixes packed earth, soft sand, and short boardwalk sections (an optional 0.25-mile extension adds steep log steps). One of the park's premier birding spots, especially during spring and fall migration. Pets are not permitted on this nature trail.
