What is Marconi Station Area Trails like?
The Marconi Station site preserves the location where Guglielmo Marconi sent the first U.S.-to-England transatlantic wireless message in 1903. Short walking paths and an accessible observation platform offer panoramic views across the narrow Outer Cape — both the Atlantic Ocean and Cape Cod Bay are visible — with interpretive exhibits on the wireless history. A staircase descends to Marconi Beach. Dogs are not permitted in this area.
