Lauren is a Cape Cod Realtor, local real estate expert, property management professional, and lifelong Cape Cod resident helping buyers, sellers, investors, and homeowners navigate real estate throughout Cape Cod and Barnstable County. A lifelong Cape Cod local with family roots on the Cape dating back generations, Lauren brings something to real estate that can’t be learned from a market report. She grew up here, graduated from Nauset Regional High School, spent her summers and weekends at places like Nauset Beach, and has built both her life and businesses within the Cape Cod community. Before becoming a licensed Realtor, Lauren spent 15 years working in property management, giving her extensive hands-on experience with Cape Cod homes and the challenges that come with owning, maintaining, investing in, and renting property here. Through Peace of Mind, she works closely with homeowners, contractors, cleaners, local vendors, vacation rental guests, and second-home owners. That experience gives her an inside understanding of what buyers look for, what sellers should address before listing, what makes a strong investment property, and what it actually takes to own and maintain a home on Cape Cod. Community involvement is also a major part of Lauren’s life. Alongside her partner, Adam, she founded Handlebars & Homes, a Cape Cod networking and motorcycle community created to connect local residents, businesses, tradespeople, and real estate professionals while giving back to the community. Through rides, events, fundraisers, and partnerships with local organizations, Handlebars & Homes has supported causes benefiting Cape Cod veterans, first responders, families, and other members of the local community. Lauren has also supported organizations and events including Housing Assistance Corporation’s Walk for Hope, Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Center, The Wall That Heals, 22Mohawks, and other Cape Cod community initiatives.
