Art's Bike Shop is a family-run bike shop on County Road in North Falmouth, about two-tenths of a mile from the northern start of the Shining Sea Bikeway, which runs along the coast to Woods Hole. They sell, repair and rent bicycles, with car parking on site, so it's an easy place to pick up a rental and head straight for the path. The shop shares its building with North Falmouth Hardware & Marine, which carries everyday hardware plus propane refills, key cutting, live bait and fishing licenses.
"Live, Love, Laugh....and plant many gardens" is more than a tagline at Attaquin Acres, the family-run Mashpee garden center where every flower is hand-planted and cultivated with love. Lush geraniums are the specialty, alongside vibrant petunias and the exclusive "Black Mamba" variety you won't find anywhere else. Open seasonally May through July, seven days a week, this is where Cape Cod's flower family comes to dig in.
