KIN Arts + Clothing

KIN is a family-owned boutique and gallery on North Water Street in Edgartown, reached by a brick path through a garden of daisies. It's run by Lisa and Gareth and brings together Gareth's Rooey Knots clothing line and Lisa's L.A. Brown Photography. They add work from other artists: jewelry by Selah Vie, ceramics by Frank Creney, paintings by Marston Clough and hand-dyed botanical dresses by Blossom. The pieces aren't sold online, so this is a shop you browse in person.

LAHA at the Barn

LAHA at the Barn sells handmade fine jewelry, accessories, apparel and art from a weathered shingled barn with blue trim, set back from Main Street at 326 Main. Look for the oval wooden LAHA sign at the sidewalk, then follow the gravel drive to the barn doors. On the way in you pass 'Harvesting,' a painted panel by Abraham Storer that is part of the Wellfleet Oyster Alliance's art installations. If you see a piece you want after you've left, the shop takes orders by Instagram message.

Marconi's Beach Outfitters is the big navy-blue shop on Route 6 in Wellfleet that bills itself as "Cape Cod's Largest Beach and Outdoor Store." It's a one-stop stock-up before the Outer Cape beaches: umbrellas and shade shelters, beach chairs and bags, pool floats, and beach games, alongside apparel, sunglasses, souvenirs and fudge. The family-run store was founded in Wellfleet in 2007 by James and Lori Baptist, with their son Kyle and his wife Helen now part of the team. You can also shop online and pick up in store on your way to the sand.

Moby's Cargo is the gift shop right next door to Moby Dick's Restaurant on Route 6. Its sign reads 'This and That… From Here and There'. Lobster traps, a whale carving, a painted mermaid and a 'Moby's Cape Cod' strongman cutout line the front of the shop. It's an easy browse while you wait for a table or walk off a lobster roll, and it's lit up and open into the evening.

Nasr Jewelers

Family-owned and operated since 1980, Nasr Jewelers has been a fixture on Buzzards Bay's Main Street for over four decades, earning a loyal following for custom jewelry design, expert repair work, and a fine selection of diamonds and gemstones. The Nasr family brings a personal, unhurried approach to every transaction — a welcome contrast to mall jewelry chains. It's the kind of store where engagement ring stories begin.

Nell

Nell is a carefully curated women's clothing and home goods boutique on Main Street in Edgartown, on Martha's Vineyard, right on the corner of South Water Street and Main Street. The store was founded in 2000 by the Soper family, first as Molly B and later as 20 Main. Owner Mairéad MacClarence took her very first job there as a seasonal sales associate in 2005, worked every summer for ten years, and bought the store in 2017. Today it mixes dresses, denim, sweaters and a men's collection with jewelry, handbags, candles, books, cards and a pet shop. Fall hours are daily, 10am to 6pm. Old Main Mercantile

Old Main Mercantile is a gift and lifestyle shop in North Falmouth village, in the yellow stucco building with red awnings and white benches out front on County Road. Inside you'll find apparel and jewelry, home fragrance and bar and kitchen goods, bath and body products, puzzles, stationery and baby gifts. Owner Suzie Lambrich opened it in July 2020, and the shop's motto is "...more than a store".
