The Silly Goose is a children's boutique and toy shop on Route 28 in Harwich Port, with clothing, books and games for little ones. Rocking chairs wait on the wraparound porch, and inside you'll find a candy-striped checkout, dress-up racks, plush animals and picture books set out at kid height. It's run by the same owners as Solis and Sativa just down the road.
The Beachcomber Store is the Route 6 shop of the Wellfleet Beachcomber, the bar and restaurant in a former U.S. Lifesaving Station overlooking the Atlantic. It's a small blue-shingled cottage in the South Wellfleet plaza, with an oval wave sign on the roof and 'T-shirts · Gifts · Beachwear' painted on the windows. Inside are Comber-branded tees, hoodies and sweats, hats, kids' clothing and gear. Per the shop, you can try things on here, which you can't at the stand at the restaurant, and exchange merchandise between the two.
The White Hare is Provincetown's home for "curated design, seasonal magic, inspired living" — beautifully chosen décor, glassware, and tableware alongside elevated holiday finds for Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. A shop where, in their words, every piece has a story and every season feels a little more magical.
Touché is an eclectic women's boutique on Falmouth's Main Street carrying a fun mix of clothing, handbags, jewelry, and quirky accessories. The selection skews colorful and playful — a nice departure from the more conservative resort-wear shops nearby. Great for picking up a unique gift or a standout piece for the summer.
The Truro General Store sits at the center of Truro Center at 14 Truro Center Road: a gray-shingled building with blue awnings, a long white porch hung with flower baskets, and an ice chest by the steps. It shares a parking lot with the Truro Post Office and River Wellness, so it's an easy stop on any run through the village. Adirondack chairs and a picnic table sit on the lawn beside the building.
Under the Sun is a cooperative gallery and boutique in Woods Hole village, showcasing handcrafted work by local and American artists — jewelry, ceramics, stained glass, wearables, photography, and unique gifts for the home. Everything on the shelves has been made by hand, giving the shop a distinct, artisan character you won't find in chain retail. A wonderful spot to find a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake from your time on the Cape.
In the heart of Mashpee Commons, Unique Boutique showcases an unprecedented collection of fine handcrafted jewelry by gifted artisans from across the country. Cape Cod-born owner Karen Galvin has curated this open-air shopping destination on North Street since 2000, rounding out the artisan jewelry with fine leather handbags and luxurious silk shawls. Discover one-of-a-kind statement pieces, thoughtful gifts, and accessories you won't find anywhere else in Mashpee.
Utilities has been stocking "Useful Things For The Home" on Cape Cod for over 20 years — kitchen, bath, and home essentials with a soft spot for retro, industrial vintage, and nautical style. Le Creuset cookware, Bodum French presses, Thomas Paul scrimshaw dinnerware, and pantry finds like Maldon sea salt and Momofuku rice vinegar.
Vineyard Vines has a store at 27 North Water Street in Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard, carrying the brand's clothing for men, women and kids. The company's story starts in 1998, when brothers Shep and Ian, stuck in desk jobs they didn't like, walked out within ten minutes of each other on the same day to chase the American Dream. The two still lead the company as its CEOs and co-founders. The Edgartown store is open daily, 10am to 6pm. Cape Cod Certified visited and photographed Vineyard Vines in person.
Wellfleet Marketplace is the white storefront with red-and-white striped awnings in the middle of Wellfleet center. It's a family-owned grocery, general store, deli, gift shop and wine and beer shop rolled into one. The deli counter does hand-lettered chalkboard sandwiches and Boar's Head meats sliced to order. The aisles cover groceries, produce, meat, books and Wellfleet sweatshirts, and the store stays open year-round.
Look for the red-and-white lighthouse on the roof of the navy shop on Main Street. That's Ragg Time Ltd., whose hanging sign also reads Wellfleet Oyster Clothing. It sells casual, comfortable women's clothing and is home of the original Wellfleet Oyster apparel for men, women and children. Inside, under old timber beams and a skylight, cubbies are stacked with oyster-logo tees and sweatshirts in every color. Shelves of caps and Wellfleet beach-name shirts make easy souvenirs.
Wish You Were Here is an Edgartown shop on Martha's Vineyard for island merch, with sweatshirts, tees, pants, shorts and souvenirs. LAHA at the Barn sells handmade fine jewelry, accessories, apparel and art from a weathered shingled barn with blue trim, set back from Main Street at 326 Main. Look for the oval wooden LAHA sign at the sidewalk, then follow the gravel drive to the barn doors. On the way in you pass 'Harvesting,' a painted panel by Abraham Storer that is part of the Wellfleet Oyster Alliance's art installations. If you see a piece you want after you've left, the shop takes orders by Instagram message.
