It's a one-stop stock-up before the Outer Cape beaches: umbrellas and shade shelters, beach chairs and bags, pool floats, and beach games, alongside apparel, sunglasses, souvenirs and fudge. The family-run store was founded in Wellfleet in 2007 by James and Lori Baptist, with their son Kyle and his wife Helen now part of the team. You can also shop online and pick up in store on your way to the sand.

Menemsha Fish Market is a family-owned fish market and takeout counter in the fishing village of Menemsha, in Chilmark on Martha's Vineyard. Its seafood is delivered daily by boats tied up right off Menemsha's Dutcher Dock, and the market prides itself on paying fishermen well. The counter cooks lobsters to order and serves raw and steamed shellfish, clam chowder and lobster bisque (gluten-free chowder is available), hot and cold lobster rolls, and table-ready lobster dinners, best enjoyed with a view of the docks or the beach. Menemsha Texaco is the family-run service station and fuel dock on Basin Road at Menemsha Harbor in Chilmark, on Martha's Vineyard. It sells gasoline and diesel for both cars and boats, and its store stocks snacks, drinks, ice cream, T-shirts, local fishing tackle, and cube and block ice. Curly and Emmett Carroll founded it in 1972. Emmett's son Marshall took over in 1990 with his wife Katie, and generations of Carrolls and local kids have worked the counter since. Moby Dick's is a Route 6 seafood stop where you order at the counter under a ceiling hung with a carved lobster and a whale, with hand-chalked boards listing specials like the jumbo lobster roll and calamari. The restaurant lets you bring your own beer and wine, and says it supplies ice buckets, cups and openers at no charge. You can eat in the screened dining room or out at the picnic tables in the pine-shaded yard, which glows with string lights at dusk. Its gift shop, Moby's Cargo, is right next door.

Moby's Cargo is the gift shop right next door to Moby Dick's Restaurant on Route 6. Its sign reads 'This and That… From Here and There'. Lobster traps, a whale carving, a painted mermaid and a 'Moby's Cape Cod' strongman cutout line the front of the shop. It's an easy browse while you wait for a table or walk off a lobster roll, and it's lit up and open into the evening.

Gluten-free options are always on hand, and they even stock MV Barkery dog bones for your four-legged travel companion.
