Your neighborhood Ace Hardware affiliate on Chatham's Main Street — full hardware selection, paint mixing (Benjamin Moore affiliate), and the seasonal supplies every Cape homeowner needs.
Chatham Pier Fish Market sits right on the historic Chatham Fish Pier, where the commercial fleet still comes in with the day's catch. The market says it sources directly from, and works side by side with, the fishermen who land that catch, and its kitchen turns out classic New England seafood to eat with a view of the harbor. Its Cook & Crack service steams lobsters (never boils them) and cracks them so they're ready to eat at the pier or carry home to a cookout. Grab one of the lobster-trap chairs out front and watch the boats work the harbor.
Chesca's Restaurant is an Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard restaurant — photographed and verified in person by Cape Cod Certified on our August 2026 island visit.
Chez Chloe Bistro is chef Philippe Rispoli's French restaurant on Lecount Hollow Road in South Wellfleet, in the space that was his PB Boulangerie Bistro. He named it for his daughter. Dinner is a three-course prix fixe of classic French cooking, with dishes like duck aux poivres, lobster gratin and Quenelle de Lyon reported by the Boston Globe. Look for the Eiffel Tower sign out by the road, the red South Wellfleet street clock, and a brick patio with colorful chairs beside the red cottage. Reservations are required.
The heart of up-island Martha's Vineyard: a classic general store with a rocking-chair front porch, wood-fired pizza, coffee, sandwiches, and local goods — a gathering spot for locals and visitors alike.
A seasonal food stand at the Aquinnah Cliffs serving lobster rolls, chowder, and ice cream with a view — a quick, satisfying bite steps from the Gay Head Lighthouse.
"We Listen, You Hear" guides everything at Coastal Hearing Clinic, where board-certified provider Cynthia Connolly delivers patient, personalized hearing care to Sandwich and the surrounding towns. From complete hearing testing and evaluations to expert hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and repairs, the clinic fits prescription devices from ReSound, Phonak, Signia, Oticon, and Starkey. Reconnect with the conversations and Cape Cod sounds you love at this trusted Sandwich audiology practice.
Coffee Obsession's Woods Hole shop sits on the corner of Water Street near the Steamship Authority, a handy place to grab a coffee and a quick bite before the ferry to the islands. It's the second location of a family-owned, independent coffee shop that started in Falmouth in 1992. Look for the oval blue sign on the shingled corner building; inside, breakfast and lunch are made to order and baristas pull specialty coffee drinks.
At Mashpee Commons, Color Me Mine turns a blank ceramic mug or platter into your own masterpiece. This paint-your-own-pottery studio welcomes kids and adults seven days a week, with late Friday and Saturday hours, private rentals, ladies' nights, paint nights, tea soirées, and seasonal brunch events. Drop in to glaze, fire, and create, or book a Mashpee party where the whole table leaves with hand-painted Cape Cod keepsakes.
When a wedding dress needs taking in the day before the ceremony, Mashpee turns to Common Threads Alterations on Nathan Ellis Highway. Skilled tailoring covers bridal gown alterations, suit fitting, hemming of every kind, take-in and take-out work, restyling, and relining tired favorites back to life. Reliable, fast, and exacting, this Cape Cod alterations and custom sewing shop treats rush jobs with the same precision as months-out fittings, stitching garments to fit you exactly.
Seven days a week on Commercial Street, instructor Brian leads private and group Pilates that meets you exactly where you are, beginner to seasoned. State-of-the-art reformers, a bright airy studio, and sports therapy that rehabs nagging injuries and rebuilds strength make this Provincetown's go-to for serious movement work. Grab your grip socks and book a session, whether you're recovering, training, or finally committing to a core that lasts.

Country Fare is a breakfast and lunch spot on Main Street in downtown Falmouth, under a striped awning with a chalkboard out on the sidewalk. Inside, a long red counter with wooden stools faces a wall of chalkboard menus for smoothies, açaí bowls, dirty sodas, milkshakes and root beer floats, and there's a case of fresh muffins and cookies by the register. Tables and booths fill the rest of the room.
Crabapples is a beloved Falmouth institution for breakfast and family dining, open since the 1970s, known for its house-made soups, chowders, and mile-high apple pies. The dinner menu on Thursday through Saturday adds seafood and heartier New England plates. An unpretentious neighborhood restaurant that locals have been returning to for generations.
Life is short, so eat a cupcake at Cupcake Charlie's in Mashpee, where an open-kitchen bakery turns out gourmet cupcakes, custom cakes, cake pops, jars, trifles, and push pops fresh every single day. Gluten-free and vegan options, plus ice cream, keep everyone happy, while custom orders, wedding desserts, corporate catering, and fundraising packages make this Mashpee cupcake shop the go-to for celebrations big and small.
Cupcake Charlie's waterfront Plymouth location sits right on Town Wharf, putting gourmet cupcakes and sweet treats steps from Plymouth Harbor's lobster boats and historic scenery. The menu spans fresh-baked cupcakes, cakes, cake cups, and more, all made with the same craft that has made this brand a South Shore staple. It's the perfect place to grab something sweet before or after exploring Plymouth's storied waterfront.
Days Market & Deli is the Beach Point stop on Shore Road in North Truro — "a little of this, a little of that," as their own motto puts it. A specialty grocery and deli turning out freshly prepared food, it's the kind of small market a beach day on the bay side gets built around.
At 51 Main Street in Buzzards Bay, Deb's Dog House is the award-winning grooming salon where, as they put it, we love what we do and it shows.
